On the first floor is The Bull – a large space with a long stretch of bar, table seating and a small stage where local musicians perform nightly. The Bull is one of the few remaining open-air bars of Key West, stepping in is like stepping back into the Old Town heritage of the island. It has a genuine carousing feel making it is easy to pop in, grab a drink and watch the crowds go by.
If you saddle up at the Bull make sure to take a gander at the walls. That's right. The history of Key West, it's icons, and the events that make up the magic of the island are hand painted along the walls. From Hemingway to Tennessee to Castro, they are always at the Bull.

We ended up at the Bull almost every day that we were in town. The bartenders are fantastic and quick with a drink even when they are very busy....and the performers were top notch! Be ready to be entertained, have a ball and probably dance a little too!

The Bull is one of those places that no matter how many times you visit Key West, a stop at the Bull is a must! Always a good pour and a great time at The Bull, and if you feel like it, wander upstairs to the rooftop "clothing optional" bar. You can keep your pants on, but you can't un-see some things, lol!

So much to do and see on Duval Street, but you need a few minutes to gather your thoughts and rest your feet, be sure to stop in at The Bull. The late afternoon/early evening band (The Spectrells) was absolutely fun and amazing. You’re in Key West to have fun and these ladies don’t disappoint.
